Kyushu Japan - The Forgotten Land

When you think of Japan, what's the first city you think of? Tokyo? Osaka? Hokkaido? How many of us know about Kyushu or actually want to visit Kyushu? Do you know one of the atomic bomb that United States dropped during World War 2 was in Kyushu? #funfact101

Location

Kyushu is located at south west of Japan and it is the third largest island of Japan.

"The world's 37th largest island by area, Kyushu is smaller than Spitsbergen but larger than New Britain and nearby TaiwanBy population, it ranks 13th, having fewer inhabitants than Borneo or Sulawesi, but more than Salsette (Mumbai) or Cuba." - Wikipedia

Cities to visit

Normally when you fly from Singapore, you will arrive at their main airport which is Fukuoka and you will depart at the same airport as well. Fukuoka is at the top of Kyushu so you can do a roundabout the whole island before departing from Fukuoka.

Fukuoka - Nagasaki - Kumamoto - Kagoshima - Ibusuki - Beppu - Fukuoka.
